Our Hygiene concept

Rules for a Safe Worship Service

Status: 07.01.2022

We support government officials in ensuring health and fighting pandemics. In the current phase, services cannot take place as usual. A large part of our offer has therefore shifted to our YouTube channel of the Ancient Celtic Church. If we do offer church services, then if possible outdoors or in very well-ventilated rooms.

We ask that you observe the following hygiene rules:

  • The state of Hesse strongly recommends adhering to the 3G rule (only tested, vaccinated or recovered persons) during church services and other religious gatherings.
  • For cultural events indoors and outdoors with 10 or more people, Hesse applies the 2G rule (only vaccinated or recovered persons, no unvaccinated persons) as well as a distance and hygiene concept.
  • However, for other church events - apart from church services - the general regulations then apply. And that means: According to the Corona Ordinance of the State of Hesse, from an incidence of 350 adults may only be admitted with proof of recovery or vaccination. Children and adolescents are admitted with negative proof or a test booklet. Persons who cannot be vaccinated attend with a doctor's certificate and test. In addition, a test or a booster vaccination is required.
  • Register in advance.
  • For outdoor services, please fill out a form with your contact details.
  • The wearing of medical masks (surgical masks, FFP2 masks) in the church and on the church premises is compulsory during the entire stay, including on the site.
  • Congregational singing is not allowed in the tightened lockdown. This applies until at least February 14th, 2021.
  • Disinfect your hands. Disinfectant dispensers are ready.
  • Quickly take the seats assigned to you.
  • Pay attention to the distance to people from other households (> 1.5 m).
  • Chairs must not be moved.
  • Follow the instructions of the security staff.
  • Refrain from shaking hands with the peace greeting and generally with the greeting.
  • People with cold symptoms or positive CoThose who have tested vid-19 are unfortunately not allowed to attend the service.

The hosts for the Lord's Supper are no longer handed out personally, but are individually wrapped in front of the altar and ready to be picked up. At the moment we have to do without the serving of the measuring wine.
